Applications of BBa_K1137000

We screaned two libraries from NIH against WT E. coli and our synthetic MycoSirA E. coli: Diversity Set IV and Natural Product Set II (found [http://dtp.nci.nih.gov/branches/dscb/repo_open.html here]). We did found significant hits from the Natural Product Set, however we did found interesting results from Diversity Set IV. In figure 1, we plot the OD of our two strains after 8 hour incubation with 1596 different compounds.

Figure 1: Final OD for growth with 1596 chemical compounds. In red are the top candicates (Z-score >3), green the rest, and in blue control samples.

The top ten drug candidates by NSC Identifiers, correspond to 201868 (Z=3.6), 117028 (Z=3.4), 31712 (Z=3.3),63680 (Z=3.3), 342460 (Z=3.2), 36758 (Z=3.2), 369066 (Z=3.1), 27305 (Z=3.1), 48388 (Z=3.1), 194308 (Z=3.1).
